When people say “call me if you need me” they don’t really mean it, do they? You’ll always be there if they need ANYTHING you but they’re no where to be seen if someone needs them.
I truly thought you loved me. But I guess that’s how it goes. You find someone better, prettier, funnier and every memory of me disappears. Because she’s what you want, she’s better than I ever was. You love her now, and I can’t get you back. You’re happy and I’m stuck thinking at 3am about what I did wrong and how I’m supposed to get over you. I opened up to you, I guess that scared you away more. You grew distant, I guess that’s when you were with her, “just friends” right? You’re happy and I shouldn’t text you but I do but it’s only by habit bc we used to text non stop. You’ve moved on to her. And I I hope you’re good to her. But I miss you and I still love you.
Every single person you know has something in their life and past that is probably worth collapsing to the ground in an uncontrollably sobbing heap over, so be nice and kind to each other and tell good jokes.
